Fresh juice

Fresh juice
After living in my current flat for nearly 2 years, I’ve finally got it together to have my windows cleaned. There’s quite a lot of window, you see, and it’s quite high, meaning it’s a job requiring someone who knows what they’re doing. To that end, this morning someone who knows exactly that came ’round at the appointed hour to scrub off the myriad layers of grime, and while I was sitting around waiting for the task to be finished, I took the opportunity to make fresh juice with that oh-so-difficult-to-clean and therefore oh-so-rarely-used juicer; 2 oranges, 2 carrots and a lemon. Pow. As the mop and the blade cut through the collected crud of city rain and bluster, the crystal orange sweetness, mixed into the pappy carrot base, combines with razor-sharp lemon zeal to slice through the swathes of sleepiness, and clarity is all around.
