Apparently Alfie's a bomb dog. According to the little card the police officer gave me when I expressed an interest in Alfie, this means that he's highly trained in sniffing out explosives, rather than that they regularly feed him nitro-glycerine or Semtex. Which is something of a relief. Anyway, he wasn't getting any of my biscuit, cute or not.

Jolly friendly police chap and Molly is gorgeous, although she didn't seem to want to sit still for a photo. Good job I didn't have any drugs or bombs on me, otherwise no doubt she'd have torn my throat out as quick as look at me
