Just imagine what would have happened had I not taken a minor detour to see someone on the way in to work. I wouldn't have walked past the entrance to the N1 shopping centre at Angel, so I wouldn't have seen the cordoned-off area outside Lloyds, or half-heard anyone muttering about whether it was anything to do with the bank itself, let alone rolled I'm sure entirely unjustified thoughts around in my head as to whether there'd have been quite so many cars and vans rushed to the scene had it not been a repository of capital at issue, or indeed whether anyone seriously thinks of Lloyds as partly TSB these days, and I'd certainly never have been able to stroll casually past four somewhat preoccupied police officers with my camera-phone pointing straight at them and catch 'em all in one go. Which would have been a shame.

Parked up outside Bar Music Hall apparently merely monitoring the crowd of smokers hanging around on the pavement, this chap espied through a bus window lent a lackadaisical air to the evening's entertainment.
