About me

For the last decade and more, my fascination with taking things apart and putting them back together again has manifested itself in my habitual making, using and working with Internet stuff.

In addition to providing me with a soapbox, this site tracks what I’m up to online using feeds from Flickr, del.icio.us and others.

ESI - Edge Side Includes

Akamai initiative - simplistically, configurable fragment distribution including to CDN etc. Could be nice.

cole rise’s comment:
this little guy lives right on the edge of the road on a cliff, down in big sur, california.

brave squirrels remind me of boston. there was this one incident on the boston common where two jumped on me, one on my leg, the other clung to my shirt. for a moment we just stood there curiously, the squirrels and i, looking at each other as if something more was to happen. "you gunna bite?"
"do you have food?"

it was pretty great, until i realized 15 others (i counted) had encircled my feet. apparently bravery begets bravery.

and so i brushed them off.
