My friend Alex has started a Flickr group with the stated aim of monitoring the nigh-epidemic spread of "fist facing" (otherwise known as "face fisting") which is currently sweeping quietly throughout the civilised world. Such supra-cultural psycho-sociological phenomena bear close and careful examination, particularly when so diversely geographically distributed as this example, demonstrating as they do such clear manifestations of critical patterns modelled in the latest formulations of the extended memetic transfer theory.
